Paradise Empanadas

empanadasFor no reason other than my desire to track down the @5411empanadas food truck, I stopped by Paradise Empanadas on Broadway to pick up some eats. Had a bacon and egg and sausage and egg empanada and a drink for just over $5. I’ll have to see how the truck compares. Too bad they weren’t parked on my block.

There have been a lot of food trucks popping up around the city, which is pretty much the first time I’ve found twitter to be useful. I’m interested to see what other automobile based food offerings will come out of the woodwork once the weather gets nice.

and so it begins

Welcome to Chicago Taco! It’s been a long time coming, but hopefully we’re here to stay. We’ve got a lot of celebrating to do. This city has a ton to offer when it comes to food, arts, culture, and music. Now it’s time to explore. Thoughts, comments, and suggestions are all welcome. Stay tuned.

Until then, a scene we’re all familiar with.
